40 years ago, British filmmaker Phil Agland traveled to the Congo Basin in order to direct a documentary about the Baka, one of the oldest human civilizations on Earth.
The story focuses on a remarkable Baka family who allows Phil to enter into their lives. This friendship has endured, resulting in 2 multi-primed films in 1989 and 2012, covering 5 generations of this family.
Today, it’s the Baka’s turn to take up the camera to challenge us about our future through the threat of their disappearance.
