SYNOPSIS

From 1949 to 1983, music accompanied the lives of Arabs in Paris.
Barbès Blues is a musical and historical journey, carried by sound and visual archives, as well as the voice-over of its director, Hajer Ben Boubaker.
The filmmaker's first film, it is an adaptation of her literary essay Barbès Blues: A Popular History of Maghreb Immigration.
